Assignment 1 | Kayla Stamey

The basic shape came from the idea of something that was symmetrical so people could not tell where the parts separated at first glance. What I learned throughout the process was that with my geometry, alignment was one of the most important factors. Learning about the width of the laser and the rules of friction fitting significantly affected my design and if I were to do this again I would focus more of my energy on that.

The finished product turned out better than I thought it would!
