The most important lesson I learned while completing this assignment is the importance of creating test pieces and anticipating error in your calculations. By doing this, one can avoid the setbacks of having to re-schedule laser cutting time. Initially, I only had one hexagon size for the nut and screw, but as I saw other people struggling to fit in their pieces, I realized it was important to offset that hexagon size in order to have different options when assembling them box and the bolts. I created around 5 different variations of the hexagon size in my cutsheet for each of the cubes. Ultimately, I was able to find a close enough friction fit for each box and its respective nut and bolt.
