I learned to beware that the laser cutter may not be as exact as Rhino - you have to be sure to leave an edge around the material, in case your sheet isn't precisely where it should be in the bed and the laser goes off the sheet. And test!

Finished "bloxes" - I learned to be very gentle when screwing them together! (the tape is to hold a piece that broke)
