Started with simple sketching, then refined the dimensions and shape based on what fit on the cut sheet, and what would be the most aesthetically pleasing end result.
The final cut sheet consisted of four test holes, which were cut first, followed by the faces of the shape.
The final volumes were assembled in red acrylic, and held together with super glue.
