Assignment 5 - Hoop House Reflection - Alyssa Hamilton

The two greatest lessons I have taken from the hoop house project are the importance of foresight and the importance of communication.
Most of us assumed so many variables that we blinded ourselves to actual results. Understanding the models correctly and using more applicable materials (with more direct correlations to the final materials) would have aided us greatly. Focusing on the small details too early in the process was another issue. We didn't fully understand the larger pieces so the smaller detailing was rendered useless later.
Mis-communication between group mates is inevitable but at points through our project, each one of us had a completely different interpretation of what we we doing, how we were doing it, and (especially) when we were doing it. Group texting and various files with odd names and the classic "he said she said" events were the most troubling in my opinion.
