Assignment 5 | Project 2 Reflection | Keith Maverick Yeung

In many ways, I believe one of the most insightful lessons our group discovered was the fact that a lot of the process work we came up with ended up useless in terms of the joints. The so called steel plates were originally intended to hold the steel frames to place. However, during fabrication we discovered that the plates were completely useless in keeping the frames together mostly because it was thin enough to rip. I guess in some ways, it made the joint look cleaner because the wood was the main material holding the frames together and bearing the pressure between each bar. It probably would have been better if we just duct taped the whole thing.
