Assignment6_ MentalArmor_GarrettRauck

If you've been to our studio, then you've certainly noticed the slew of skateboards scattered across the floor. When thrown about carelessly, they create a hazard for anyone working in the space, and altogether they make for an unprofessional atmosphere. Part of the reason the boards are so disorganized is that there is nowhere to place them when not in use. Often times, leaning them up against a wall or a cabinet doesn't suffice; they just get in the way or get knocked around in the fast-paced activity of studio.

In an attempt to solve the skateboard crisis, I have developed an extension to the studio desk that acts as a skateboard rack. The product is sleek, easy to use, and incredibly sturdy. The prototype shown below is designed for the standard Penny Board; though, one can imagine altering the dimensions to support a larger, heavier long board.
