Hoop House Reflection

The hoop house project became a game of digital fabrication verse craftsmanship. I learned that ignoring craft and simply relying on machines (CNC) to process our design made it difficult for a successful design, craft should never be lost amongst a formula of rhino models, parametric modeling and measurements. A design could be made on a CNC machine but not being conscious about connecting it to the site and having it maintain a relationship was the biggest challenge and a great learning experience.
