I first approached this project by brainstorming things that I can add value to to make it more useful to me. To me, this meant making my everyday life more efficient and therefore I decided to create an addition to my bed frame that will allow me to place things. I used one of the post of my bed frame to hold up a structure of trays that provides place for storage. To use the most of the cutting pattern of the CNC router, I made the corners rounded so that it would make a greater aesthetic form as well as consider safety issues related to having sharp corners in my dorm room.
