During the construction process, I learned that we must
prepare our structure for the natural environment. Our structure blew away
within the first two days it was completed because it did not have a strong
connection with the ground. The back was attached but the front poles were just
touching the ground. When we built it on campus, the structure was fine with only
one or two poles staked in, but the environment at Healcrest was completely different.
When we rebuilt our structure for the third time, we moved to a different area
with less wind impact and softer soil so we could connect the structure to the
ground better.
