Mental Armor

For Assignment 6, I created a laptop cooling pad/elevated stand. I am constantly moving my computer, phone, drinks, etc. around my studio desk to make room for modeling, sketching, etc. This stand allows me to have my laptop elevated above my studio desk (or any flat surface) and have room for stuff underneath (including cup holders - one of which is big enough for a mug). The top also detaches (screws) so that it can be used as a cooling pad/lap desk. I already have one, but when I am working somewhere other than my desk, I never have a flat space for other things I like to have handy like my phone, mouse, and water bottle. I created a space for all those things on the side. Using the CNC router saved hours of time compared to how long it would take me to make this in shop. Pocketing with the CNC was a much better option than milling in shop (my most hated machine).
