One of the my lessons that I took away from the fabrication of the hoop house was that the machine doesn’t always produce exactly what you want. Our project required that we bend metal conduit and the metal bender that we had access to didn’t have a bit to hold our conduit because it was too wide so we ended with bent conduit with a flat side which turned out to look better and I realised even though the machine couldn’t produce what we wanted, it created something that looked even better and sometimes you have to trust the machine to not screw up your project.
