Assignment 6: Mental Armor

For this assignment I wanted to create a place for me to store things bedside. Coming from freshman dorms, the new dorm room that I am staying in did not have any place to keep things close and within reach (ex. my alarm clock would be too far for me to turn it off in the mornings) so I decided to make a simple shelf to attach to the bed frame. During the process there was some sort of error with the pathing that we couldn't fix, and some of the slots could not be cut to fit the shelf into. Already cut, these pieces were too delicate to try and slot in the woodshop using either the mill, or the bandsaw. In the end, my decision to make the supports longer paid off as I am now able to rest the shelf on top of the supports with no need for slots.
