Assignment 6 - Mental Armor

For this assignment, I created a set of swords and two scabbards (one is hiding in the wood shop somewhere...) It can change anybody who holds them from ordinary to extraordinary. When making these swords it occurred to me that I could have made them in the wood shop. There weren't any extremely difficult curves to make. Even the tip of the blade probably could have been sanded to be "sharp". Because of the thickness of the wood my group used (1/4"), the blades started to warp. Also, due to the thinness and my own clumsiness, three out of the six blades snapped in some place (one of which was shredded beyond repair). That being said, I learned in great detail about how the CNC operates and how to set up files in order to CNC. The next time I use the CNC machine, I can experiment and use my classmates' knowledge to know how far the machine can go.
