Matt Porter | Reflection: Project 2

The fabrication of project 2 was really helpful in demonstrating that relying on any specific fabrication technique had potential to produce problems. While DFAB created a lot more stress for us as a group, the part following the CNC portion was notably easier because we designed for a quick and simple assembly. In this respect, it was helpful to note that complexity of form did not necessarily have to correspond to complexity of process.
